I see you

Mother’s Day: A day that can be the best of the best, or the worst of the worst. For some, it’s a day of grieving a mom that’s no longer with you, a child that has passed, a broken relationship, and an empty womb. While most people are busy celebrating (and they should) a lot of women are hurting.  Women who have lost a baby aren’t quite sure where they fit in on this day. For me the struggle was infertility. I was bitter.  My body wasn’t doing what it was supposed to do. People all around me not even trying were getting pregnant.

The Lord was gracious to us. We now have three beautiful children. A lot of people who walk the same path we walked don’t end up where we are now. I am so thankful.

I look at this holiday in a totally different way now.  I’m still obviously thankful for my own mother, the mother and step mother in my husband’s family, and all the grandmothers in the family.  However, I celebrate differently. I am respective in what I post. I just want to say this: to all the mothers of angel babies and to all those longing to be mothers, I SEE YOU! I pray for you. I hope that you seek comfort in knowing the Lord has you in His hand. He has a plan and purpose for your path. Sometimes here on earth it stinks.  I’ll never know why we went on the journey we did. I do know that HE knows.  Give it to Him this Mother’s Day and know you are being prayed for!

All things work for our good
Though sometimes we don't
See how they could
Struggles that break our hearts in two
Sometimes blind us to the truth
Our Father knows what's best for us
His ways are not our own
So when your pathway grows dim
And you just don't see him,
Remember your never alone

Chorus:

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When don't see his plan
When you can't trace his hand
Trust His Heart

He sees the master plan
He holds the future in his hand,
So don't live as those who have no hope,
ALL our hope is found in him.
We see the present clearly
He sees the first and last
And like a tapestry He's weaving you and me,
To someday be just like him

(Chorus)

He alone is faithful and true
He alone knows what is best for you

(Chorus)

When you can't trace his hand
When you don't see his plan
When you don't understand
Trust His Heart
